Les Trois-Vallées – The 3 Valleys – is a large ski area located in France in the French department of Savoie in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region .
The Trois-Vallées area, which lies in the valleys of the Tarentaise , is considered one of the largest ski areas in the world with over 600 km of slopes – in downhill skiing and cross-country skiing – claimed.
It develops on the slopes of the valleys of Bozel, Allues and Belleville , on which we find the eight winter sports resorts , Courchevel , La Tania , Meribel , Brides-les-Bains , Les Menuires , Saint-Martin -de-Belleville , Val Thorens and Orelle( Maurienne valley ), forming the domain.
